This past month has been a little nutty – I completed a 160-page paper and took some time to write a proposal for my next paper on human development. Now that it’s accepted, it’s time to write again!
With that said, here are some things that I learned during the month, either about myself, Spain, or Valencia:
- Learning Spanish takes more brain juice than I may have on a daily basis, and I am slowly plodding along. Really.
- I am slowly but surely finding blogs about Valencia that are giving me some ideas of what to do in my future home: http://www.holavalencia.net/, http://www.myamericanmarket.com/us, http://www.amazon.es/, http://www.antal.com/, http://globexsvalencia.blogspot.com/, http://escuelafoodandfun.es/, http://www.spanishnews.es/, and so many more!
- One of my personal heroes, the couple responsible for www.for91days.com, contacted me through my Twitter Feed. What an honor!
- It’s about time to get rid of another layer of stuff.
I have not spent a lot of time on the computer working on my blogs – I am more focused on schoolwork currently. As the holidays approach, I hope that I can take a few minutes and update this blog. In the meantime, feel free to say hi!
